A visitation will be held from 1100 a.m. 100 p.m. on Wednesday May 20 2026 at Vandemore Funeral Home Atkinson Chapel. A graveside service will follow at 130 p.m. on Wednesday at Grandview Cemetery in Atkinson. Reverend Terry Lancaster will officiate. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family. Russell Crowe was born on March 6 1950 in Forest City Arkansas to William and Mildred Clarke Crowe. He attended Elgin High School and in 1968 married the love of his life Betty Williams. The couple shared 58 beautiful years of marriage. Russell began his career in construction and later became a proud member of the carpenters union.
