Jerry D. Ray Jr., 53, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2026, surrounded by the family who loved him.He was a devoted father to Alisa Ray, Jacob Ray, Anthony Ray, Stephanie (Michael) Mills, and Mackenzie Ray. He was also a proud grandfather to Kylie, Madison, Joel, Jules, Kalliee, and Takota, who brought him endless joy.Jerry is survived by his loving mother, Arlene Shepherd; his children and grandchildren; his brother, Robert (Maggie) Basile; his sister, Mary (Mark) Schram; and many cherished nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry D. Ray Sr., and his grandfather, Lotha Watts.Jerry will be remembered for the love he had for his family and the memories he leaves behind. Though he will be deeply missed, his loved ones find comfort in knowing he is no longer suffering and is finally at peace.
