Mr. Edgar Ambrose Bud Mesecher 90 of Galesburg Illinois died at 724 p.m. Saturday October 10 2026 at the Knox County Nursing Home in Knoxville Illinois. He was born on January 27 1936 in Sciota Illinois to Royal and Lorine Bagley Mesecher. He married Mary VanWinkle in 1957. Together they had one son Dwayne Mesecher. Surviving are his daughterinlaw Sue Mesecher of Gerlaw Illinois four grandchildren Kaylee and Brendan Poole Ashlee and Mike Coyle Rachel and John Stanley and Kyle Kristi Spencer 12 greatgrandchildren and three greatgreatgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents his son Dwayne Mesecher his sister Carol Leezer and a greatgrandchild. Bud attended school in Sciota. He worked for AdmiralMaytag Manufacturing Company in Galesburg for several years before retiring. A talented handyman Bud enjoyed working on his cars. Mrs. Rose Mejia Stockman 90 of Galesburg passed away peacefully at home on Friday October 9 2026 surrounded by family she loved deeply. Rose was born on January 25 1936 in Galesburg the beloved daughter of Jose and Luciana Alvarez Mejia. On August 13 1960 she married the love of her life Roger Lewis Stockman at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Galesburg. Together they shared 66 beautiful years of marriage side by side in love faith and hard work. Rose is survived by her devoted husband Roger her two cherished daughters Rosanne the late Hans Block of Gilson Illinois and Roxanne Andy Beversdorf of Wichita Kansas seven adored grandchildren and twelve precious greatgrandchildren. She was a grandmother whose love knew no boundsgentle constant and full of joy. She is preceded in death by her three sisters and one brother.
