Rose M. Scheper, 69, of Rock Island, passed away Friday, May 8, 2026, at MercyOne Genesis East, Davenport.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 15, 2026, at Rafferty Funeral Home, 2111-1st St A, Moline. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service.Rose was born November 15, 1956, in Moline, the daughter of Jesse and Lupe (Tapia) Ramirez. She married Dennis Scheper on September 13, 2011, in Las Vegas, Nevada.Rose retired from ALCOA in Riverside, Iowa, in 2015 after 32 years of service. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, gardening, volunteering in the community, and visiting the casinos. She especially loved feeding people and was happiest when surrounded by family, friends, good food, and laughter.She took great pride in her beautiful backyard landscaping and loved sharing her hostas with family and friends.
