Sadly our beloved Evelyn Ferguson 91 of Bolingbrook IL passed away on March 27 after years of battling dementia. Evelyn was born on May 21st 1934 to Andrew and Marie Rutland in Berwyn IL. After graduating from Oak Park High School she went on to become a paralegal before getting married to Kenneth Ferguson and having three children Michael Ferguson Julie Strakalaitis and Donna Ricci. Evelyn will be remembered as a pillar of strength bravery and generosity. As a single mom raising three children she encountered obstacles with tenacity and perseverance that welled up from a deep love of her family. Even with little to spare Evelyn continued to give and help others. Family members and friends say she was always there for them in their moments of greatest need.
