Halina Koszela (nee Gorniewicz) age 93 late of New Lenox, IL formerly of Oak Lawn, IL.She passed away peacefully at home with her family on June 30th. Beloved wife of the late Robert Koszela. Loving mother of Jack (Carolyn) Koszela. Proud grandmother of Steven Koszela, Michael (Megan) Koszela, James (Jennifer) Koszela & Jessica Koszela and great-grandmother of Austin, Andrew, Charlotte, Tristan, Maddux & Sawyer. Dear sister of Lester, Maria, Anna and the late Zdistav. Halina was born and raised in Poland and came to the United States in 1963. She loved gardening and most of all enjoyed being a mother and grandmother. Family will receive friends Thursday July 9th at the Cherry Hill Church of Christ 2749 Lancaster Joliet, IL 10:00 AM until time of Funeral Service at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL where her cremains will be buried with her husband…
