It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gregory James Robinson 70 who departed this life on Monday March 30 2026. Greg proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War a service he carried with honor and pride throughout his life. On December 12 1981 Greg married the love of his life Donna Robinson. Together they shared over 42 years of marriage building a life centered around love laughter and family until her passing on January 26 2024. Greg and Donna dedicated over 20 years of service to Maytag where they formed lasting friendships and truly valued their Maytag family. Following his time there Greg went on to work as a truck driver a career from which he later retired. Those closest to him knew him as a protectorsomeone who cared fiercely for the people in his life and was always there when he was needed most. He is survived by his best friend and loving wife of nearly 20 years Alyssa Morris and their daughter Brinlee Morris of Carterville IL who were the center of his world. He considered his daughter his greatest accomplishment in life.
