He married Rachel Wright she preceded him in death. Travis was employed as a custodian at a Nursing Home in Michigan City Indiana. He attended Rockford Public Schools. He loved fishing and eating sweets cards dominos and hanging with his family. Melinda Dichelle Morris of Rockford IL departed this earthly life February 2 2026. She was born October 10 1973 in Chidester Arkansas the daughter Roosevelt Box and Maggie Morris. Melinda lived in Rockford many years coming from Chidester. She was employed as a caretaker by the Veterans Association. Melinda was a member of the Eastern Star Pride of Harmony 144. She graduated from Chidester High School class of 1992 and received her Associates Degree from Rockford Business College. Cesar Barrera 59 of Rockford passed away peacefully with his family by his side on February 7 2026. He was born in Texas the son of Juan and Guadalupe Rodriguez Barrera. He attended Belvidere High School. Cesar was a devoted partner father grandfather son and brother whose presence brought warmth and strength to those around him. Cesar shared 30 wonderful years with his life partner Melissa Barnes. Together they built a life filled with love laughter and cherished memories. He especially enjoyed spending time with his brother Jose working on cars alongside his father and creating special moments with his beloved grandchildren.
