She is also survived by her mother Barbara Maligranda her sisters Danuta Barnhart John Barnhart Urszula Maligranda Cal Beckham Zofia Maligranda Basia Maligranda and her brother Konstanty Maligranda. Services will be held at St. Marys Oratory 517 Elm St Rockford IL. Rev. Canon Gerald Bell will serve as rector. The Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday April 7 2026 at times. Jim Binder 84 died Monday March 30 2026 at home in Rockford Illinois in thepresence of loved ones. He was greatly loved by his children grandchildren andtheir families. The son of Harry and Elizabeth Binder Jim was born on April 14 1941 in ChicagoIllinois. On August 11 1962 he married Dorothy Lee Routson in Chicago atGrace Free Church. Jim and Dottie met in high school and sang together in theSteinmetz High School Chorus in Chicago.After high school Jim attended Roosevelt University in Chicago where he receivedhis Bachelors degree later earning a Masters degree from Northern IllinoisUniversity. He completed his studies in 1976 earning a Certificate of AdvancedStudies in educational administration from Northern Illinois University. After graduating from Roosevelt University Jim began teaching in Chicago beforemoving to Schaumburg to teach in School District 54 then moving into schooladministration. Phanthavong "Pon" Chareun 68 of Rockford passed away peacefully at home after a sudden illness. He was born in Laos on May 16 1957. Pon was married to his wife Douangchay "Noy" Chareun for almost 46 years. Pon was a passionate karaoke singer. He adored his children and grandchildren. Spending time with his family brought him the greatest joy in life. He is survived by his wife Douangchay "Noy" Chareun children Aron Tricia Chareun Anita Derek Busse Chareun and Alvin Alexis Chareun and grandchildren Logan Chareun Mason and Carter Busse and Nora Chareun.
