Debby graduated from Boylan High School in Rockford. She enjoyed knitting thrifting and socializing with friends and most of all spending quality time with her family and grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Thursday August 13 2026 at Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Church 108 N. 5th St. Rockford Illinois 61107 with a visitation from 1000 a.m. to 1100 a.m. the service following.Interment will take place in Greenwood Cemetery in Rockford Illinois.

Jennifer was born at home in Spartanburg S.C. on January 20 1939 to parents Robert C. and Sylvia E. Bowen Stafford. She grew up and went to school in Spartanburg and married Ed Wilkinson in 1955 in Illinois. They gave birth to her four children whom she mothered until she later married Jason McClenthen in 1971. She was a faithful wife for 55 years as they grew in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Homer married Karen Soper Troy and together they shared 54 wonderful years of marriage. Homer proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1963 to 1965 and was honorably discharged. Following his military service he began a career with Chrysler where he worked for more than 30 years before retiring on June 30 2001. In retirement Homer devoted 22 years to volunteering at Rockford Memorial Hospital where he generously gave his time to serve others. He was also an avid reader who found great enjoyment in books throughout his life.
