Mrs. Jennie Irene QuinnCalhoun was born on August 28 1949 to the late Eulies and Ethel Quinn in Dalton Georgia. Jennie attended Emory Street School for black students in Dalton Georgia from 1st grade to 12th grade. Jennies class was the last class to graduate before the school closed in 1967. In 1968 black students had to integrate to white schools. Jennie was married to the late Bobby Calhoun and in that marriage she had four boys Jerald DaVon Chante and Willie. Jennie and her family relocated to Fort Wayne Indiana in 1982 where she gave her life to Christ. She was an active member of the Community Baptist Church where she served the Lord and served as the secretary of the missionary society until her health started to fail.
