Mary Sharon Mankins 84 went to be with her Lord on August 31 2026 in Columbus Indiana. She was born on August 13 1942 in Rockville Indiana to the late William and Lulu Sollers Shorter. Mary graduated from Bellmore High School and later married Mickey Mankins on September 30 1961. She worked as a CNA at various nursing homes in the area nd was a member of the Apostolic Faith Tabernacle. Mary loved going to church reading and porch sitting with her sister. She also enjoyed watching the Colts and attending stock car races. Mary was preceded in death by her husband Mickey son Mark Mankins soninlaw Billie Mears and her siblings Darlene Lopez Barbara Mitten Elmo Shorter Clayton Shorter Jim Shorter and Dick Shorter. Mary Evalyn Lash 77 know to her family as Patty passed away Sunday October 4 2026 after an extended illness. She was born in Greencastle Indiana on March 17 1949 to the late Harold and Mary Hawkins Berry. Mary graduated from Greencastle High School in 1967 and married John Lash on June 10 1977 they are members of the Union United Church. She wore many different hats through the years growing up on the family farm in Putnamville working as a bank teller at Terre Haute First she also helped open the Shuee and Sons location in Brazil and her and John operated Lash Properties. Mary loved spending time with her family always attending the grandchildrens activities. She enjoyed traveling spending time in the outdoors and antiquing. Norma Murphy

Norma Rose Murphy of Indianapolis Indiana peacefully passed into the arms of her Savior on August 24 2026 at her daughters home where she had lived for the past three years. Norma was born June 11 1947 and grew up in Brazil Indiana where in her early teen years she worked as a busgirl and hostess at her familys popular restaurant Hunts Pleasant Acres. After graduating from VanBuren High School she attended the University of Illinois Chicago. She married Frank Murphy and moved to Canada before eventually returning to Indiana where she began her career with Hallmark. During her years with Hallmark she managed and oversaw numerous stores throughout Indianapolis and the surrounding communities. Following her time with Hallmark she continued her career in public service working for the State of Indiana in Medicaid Policy.
