She was born March 8 1937 in Taylorsville Kentucky to the late William Perry Long and Opal Doris Cain Long. She was formerly employed as a sales representative with Lincoln Income Life Insurance Company in Louisville Kentucky and with Keller Manufacturing Company in Corydon and was a member of the catholic faith. She was preceded in death by her parents her husbands Louis Leachman and Charles Bud Chambers and her siblings Randall Long Eugene Long David Long Donnie Long Frankie Long Frances Crecelius Betty Crecelius Leila Long and Larry Long. Rebecca Dawn Parr 49 of Lanesville Indiana died Saturday August 15 2026 at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany Indiana. She was born January 24 1977 in New Albany. Rebecca earned her bachelors degree in English from Indiana University Southeast was a homemaker and a special education teacher at Lanesville Elementary School and was a member of Cherry Street Church of Christ in New Albany. She married her husband Kevin on January 1 2000 and was a loving and devoted wife mother daughter and sister. She loved crocheting creating her own salves and balms from essential oils flowers especially irises and lavender was an excellent cook and was a talented violinist and a former member of the Floyd County Youth Symphony. Cathy Annette Dargel 63 of the Portland neighborhood of Louisville Kentucky died Sunday August 16 2026 at The Waters of Huntingburg in Huntingburg Indiana. She was born June 24 1963 in Louisville to the late John Dargel Sr. and Lettie McQueary Dargel. She was formerly employed with New Hope Services in New Albany Indiana and with Blue River Services in Corydon Indiana. Cathy loved wrestling was an avid U.K. fan and especially loved PUZZLE BOOKS Survivors include her brother John Dargel Jr. Missy her nephews John Dargel Cassie and Josh Dargel Abby her great nephews Hudson Dargel and Cohen Dargel and many loving cousins extended family and friends.
