Georgiana Cecile Recupido a beloved wife mother sister grandmother and greatgrandmother peacefully passed away on June 22 2026 at the age of 88 in the comfort of her daughters home which she resided shorty after losing her husband of 68 years in 2023. Born on February 26 1938 in Chicago Illinois Georgianas life was filled with love and laughter. Georgiana was the cherished daughter of Martin and Susan Nozar Akai who instilled in her the values of kindness and resilience. She was predeceased by her parents and her brothers Martin Jr. Johanna James Sue and William Kristie whose memories she held dear throughout her life. Her son Donald also preceded her in death a loss she suffered with grace and strength.
