He was a man who truly valued the simple joys of life. James had a special love for cars and enjoyed good food but above all he adored his family. Spending time with the people he loved and cared for brought him great joy. His presence and the memories he created with family and friends will forever be cherished. James departed this life on August 10 2026. At an early age Katherine accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and was baptized at Irvington First Baptist Church. In recent years she rededicated her life to the Lord and continued to cherish her faith. Katherine received her elementary education through Indianapolis Public Schools 57 and 85 and later earned her GED. Throughout her life she worked in a variety of industries and eventually retired from Sexton Corporation. Katherine was united in holy matrimony to Lee McFadden. Although their union did not produce children Katherine was blessed with a son the late Dewayne Hill from a previous relationship. She was a loving mother grandmother greatgrandmother sister aunt and dear friend who touched the lives of many. Affectionately known as Kat or Katwoman Katherine had a personality and presence that were truly unforgettable. Forrest received his education through North Central High School and JEL Career Center. He had an independent and hardworking spirit and was selfemployed. He enjoyed working on cars and took pride in using his hands and his abilities. Forrest was a member of Open Door Church of Deliverance where he was a part of the Youth Department Youth Usher Board and he was also a scholar at Open Door Church Childcare. She was born on January 14 1936 in Blytheville AR the only child born to Andrew and Dollie Harvey Robinson. She graduated from Shortridge High School in Indianapolis with the Class of 1954. Pearl married John Edward Williams and three children were born to their union. John preceded her in death in 1982. She later married William Henry Davis with whom she welcomed another child. William preceded her in death in 1995. Pearl initially made her home and raising her children her fulltime work. Her eventual decision to seek employment outside of her home came about in a way that became something of a family story.
