Loras J. Sabers 79 of Peosta Iowa passed Away on Friday February 13 2026 at his home surrounded by his family. The family will greet friends and relatives from 2 to 7 p.m. on Thursday February 19 2026 at the Reiff Funeral Home in Peosta Iowa where a prayer service will be held at 200 p.m. Visitation will continue after 9 a.m. on Friday February 20 2026 at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Loras at 1030 a.m. on Friday February 20 2026 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Peosta Iowa with Rev. Steven Garner presiding. Rev. Phil Kruse will be concelebrating. Assisting Deacons will be Jim Koetz and Nick Elliott. Burial will be held in St. Johns Cemetery in Centralia Iowa.
