Lois Ann (Severson) LaBrue lost her short battle with kidney failure on 7/1/2026 at her home in Arkansas City, Kansas with her family by her side. She was 85.Lois was born May 3, 1941 in Kay County, Oklahoma to Lloyd W. and Opal D (Morris) Severson. She is the eldest of three children and grew up in the Braman, Oklahoma area. She attended Braman schools through most of her senior year. She did pursue and attain her GED as an adult.Her early working career was in food service and retail. After attaining her GED, she became the bookkeeper at Medical Lodge North in Ark City, where she made many life-long friends.She met the love of her life, Homer DeVoe LaBrue, in 1959.
