Sherri Frost Carter 66 of Bowling Green Kentucky peacefully entered the presence of Jesus on Thursday July 2 2026 at the Hospice House in Bowling Green after a courageous journey. While her family grieves her absence they find comfort in knowing she is reunited in Heaven with the love of her life her husband Jeffrey Calvin Carter. A native of Scottsville Kentucky Sherri was a retired employee of the Bowling Green Social Security Office where she faithfully served for 31 years. She earned a Bachelor of Social Work degree from Western Kentucky University was a former preschool teacher at Bowling Green Christian Academy to be with her grandson Ryder and devoted more than three decades as a faithful member and volunteer at Hillvue Heights Church. David Keen 72 of Cave City KY and formerly of Scottsville KY passed away Thursday July 2 2026 at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow KY. The Indianapolis Indiana native was a retired employee of T.V.A. a Viet Nam U.S. Navy veteran a Christian an avid football fan and member of Local 492. He was a son of the late Norman B. Keen and Geneva Miller McHaney. Celebration of Life will be 400 P.M. Sunday July 12 2026 at Goad Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Whelan officiating. Visitation will be 200 P.M. to 400 P.M. Christine Shaw "Ninnie" Young 96 of Scottsville KY passed away Friday July 3 2026 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. She was born in Tompkinsville KY to the late Johnnie Shaw and Bertha Spears Shaw. She married Andrew Young on May 20 1950 and he preceded her in death on May 27 2014. She was a former employee of Washington Overall Manufacturing American Greetings and Imperial Reading. Christine was a member of New Salem Missionary Baptist Church for over 60 years and has been a good a faithful servant of the Lord for over 80 years.
