Johnny Edward Donahue age 35 passed away on May 12. He was born in Morehead Kentucky on May 14 1990 to Roy Lewis Donahue Jr. and Kathy Robinson Donahue Blevins. Johnny was a hard worker who truly loved what he did taking great pride in his work with Swartz Construction and Tree Removal Inc. where he had been employed for 17 years. Known for his kind heart and fun loving spirit he never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He loved spending time outdoors and enjoyed riding and training Tennessee Walking Horses with his dad. Johnny loved to go hunting fishing and ride four wheelers. Dirt track racing was a passion of his and he loved the excitement and memories that came with it. More than anything he loved making people laugh having a good time with friends and family.…

Deborah Kay Saunders Black 61 of Sycamore Street Salt Lick KY passed away Sunday May 17 2026 at her residence. Born June 6 1964 at Lexington KY a daughter of the late Charles Saunders and the late Ruby Traylor King. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister Carol Lynn Hunt. Survivors include a sister Lois Esham of Salt Lick KY a brother Charles David Saunders of Morehead KY a half sister Cindy Hodskins of Fayetteville AR. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. In keeping with Debbies wishes she will be cremated and the family will have private services at a later date. Powell Funeral Home Salt Lick KY is assisting the family with arrangements.
