Roy Lee Freeman, Jr., 60, passed away on Friday, February 13, 2026, at his home. Born on January 31, 1966, in Lexington, Kentucky, he was the son of Roy Lee Freeman, Sr., and Brenda Joyce Rainey Freeman.Roy was a landscaper and proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Army.In addition to his parents, he is survived by his children, Kory Freeman, Ashley Casavant, and Timothy Phillips; his grandson, Jett Freeman, and Jett’s mother, Shaylin; his brother, Richard Freeman; and a host of extended family members and friends.He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Oliver and Cora Freeman and Taylor and Nannie Lee Rainey.The family will receive friends on Monday, February 16, 2026, at Scobee Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Keith Felton will officiate and burial will follow in the Winchester Cemetery.
