Douglas Clark Estes, 82, husband of the late Wyoma Estes, passed away on Friday, October 9, 2026. Born in Cobb Hill, Kentucky, on March 23, 1944, he was the son of the late Virgil Scrivner and Beatrice Hall Estes.Douglas was a lifelong farmer, dedicating much of his life to working the land, a way of life that reflected his strong work ethic and dedication. He also served as plant and maintenance manager for Square D in Lexington, Kentucky, where his leadership and commitment were evident throughout his career. Above all, Douglas was a devoted family man who treasured the time spent with his loved ones and the many memories they shared.He is survived by his three sons, Timothy (Charlotte) Estes of Portland, Oregon, Tommy (Diana) Estes of Winchester, Kentucky, and James (Samantha) Estes of Pittsboro, North Carolina; several grandchildren; sister, Karen (Greg) Abney; as well as numerous extended family members…
