Robert Lee Poynter, 62, of Elizabethtown passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at Baptist Health Hardin.He was born August 14, 1963 in Louisville.Robert was a loving son, husband, dad, papaw, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend.He was a dedicated Louisville fan and worked for Cardinal Industries for many years until he became co-owner of Mulberry Florist with his wife of 15 years.After retirement he stayed at home and took care of his grandbabies and his flock of chickens that he loved.Robert was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Poynter.Survivors include his wife, Tobe Beard Poynter; daughters, Alice Dobyns and April Beard (Devin); son, Josh Beard (Jessica); mother, Alice Poynter; sister, Lisa Poynter; grandchildren, Brennan “Brutis”, Adalynn “Princess”, Mason “Meathead”, Mallorie “Piglet”, Jessie “Brother”, Chaelynn “Little Red”, Anna Mae “Piglet”, Riley, Waverly Nova, Wyatt, Oaklyn and J.R. and many nieces and nephews.Services will be 7:00 p.m. Friday, April 3, 2026, at…
