Emma Grace Pennington 18 of Harlan passed away Saturday August 8 2026. She was born on August 28 2007 in Harlan. Grace was a homemaker who loved taking care of her son which was her priority and believed in the Christian faith. Survivors include her loving parents Darrell Pennington Angela Combs and Jerry Williams. Her son whom she adored Declan James Pennington father of her child Gavin Britton Fisher. Her grandparents Greg and Emma Combs and Bradley Pennington and Margaret Goodin. Her brothers Jordan Combs and Grayson Combs and her sister Brynlee Williams. Her special aunt Rebecca Combs and her special cousin Madison Taylor and a host of other relatives and friends also survive. Kenneth Ira Turner age 74 of Cumberland Kentucky entered eternal rest on Wednesday August 13 2026 at the Hazard ARH Advance Care Unit surrounded by his family. He was born on May 3 1952 to the union of Johnny and Ethel Eldridge Turner. Kenneth was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force where he attained the rank of Sergeant and served as a security policeman. He served his country faithfully during the Vietnam War. He believed in the Pentecostal faith and had worked for a rock mining company in Lexington Kentucky among several other jobs throughout his life. Kenneth appreciated the simple joys of life. He spent the happiest hours fishing by the water and hunting for wild ginseng in the woods. Nothing brought him a deeper smile though than listening to his grandson Tyler play the piano and sing.
