John Scott Woods 62 of Louisville Kentucky passed away on March 31 2026 in his hometown. Scott was born on March 9 1964 in Louisville Kentucky to Dorothy and Carlos Woods Jr. A lifelong resident of the city he loved Scott built a life centered around family friendship and the simple joys that brought people together. He dedicated 25 years of service to Ford where he took great pride in his work and his love for Ford trucks. Outside of work Scott was known as the life of the partyhis presence was unmistakable and his energy and laughter left lasting impressions on everyone he met. He had a deep love for horseracing and cherished time spent at Churchill Downs cheering on his favorites. A devoted University of Louisville fan Scott rarely missed an opportunity to support his team. He also found peace in fishing and enjoyed playing his acoustic guitar.…
