Daniel C. Taylor of Isom Kentucky passed away at home on May 17th 2026 being 79 years 3 months and 10 days at the time of his passing. Dan was born February 7th 1947 in Chickamauga Georgia to the late D.C. and Jane Taylor. Later in the years the family picked up and made Kentucky their home in Letcher and Bell County. In 1969 Dan graduated from LMU with a Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education. While at LMU Dan played baseball and was their pitcher. After graduating from LMU he went on and graduated from Morehead State completing his Master of Arts degree in 1977. On November 20th 1980 Dan married Evelyn Bailey Taylor to this union was born one son Jimmy Dan. Von was born in Marlowe Kentucky in 1939 as the eldest child to Denver and Callie Raleigh. From a young age Von grew up with a lot of responsibilities and putting others before herselfhelping raise her siblings and babysitting younger cousins. If you knew Von you know she always had homemade jam to give a story to tell and was ready to make a table of food when she knew shed be hosting. Von married her loving husband Winfred Campbell in 1963 and together they raised their three children Wendy Cindy and Todd.
