Carol Jean Peek Bastin age 75 of Louisville Kentucky passed away peacefully Sunday August 16 2026. Born April 17 1951 in Stanford Kentucky she was the daughter of the late John Mayme Hogue Peek. Carol was the widow of Loyd Keith Bastin whom she married Wednesday December 2 1970 and preceded her in death Saturday January 29 2022. Carol retired as a billing assistant and was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Louisville. Carol was also a member of the Beechmont Womens Club and enjoyed sewing cross stitching reading and traveling.
