He was born January 23,1952, in Shenandoah, Iowa to the late George Max Gibson and Barbara Jean Beasley.He was a US Army veteran and former employee of Tempur-pedic Mattresses.He is survived by his cousin and primary caregiver, Fawn Conley, Richmond KY; an aunt, Doris Gibson Root, New Virginia, IA; a sister Cindy Gibson Hawkins, Frankfort, KY; half-brother Bruce Gibson, Texas; three half-sisters: Tama Gibson Mansanarez, IL, Carlleen Gibson Long, IA, and Loretta Lewis, KY; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by an aunt and uncle with whom he made his home for many years, Elmon and Paulyne Gibson Conley; sister: Teresa Gibson Long; half-sister: Kimberly Shepard; and half-brother Douglas Beasley.Per his request there will be no visitation or funeral.
