Mrs. Shirley Parke Farthing, 84, the widow of Kenneth Allen Farthing, passed away Thursday evening, July 2, 2026, in Winchester, Kentucky.Shirley was born on July 16, 1941, in Madison County, the daughter of the late Horace and Nannie Turpin Parke. She was a homemaker and was currently a member of The Unity Baptist Church of Richmond. Formerly Shirley had been a longtime member of the Kirksville Baptist Church.She loved her family and was also a caregiver for members of her family. Shirley was a former volunteer for Hospice Care Plus and was very active and attended programs at the Telford YMCA. Most recently as a resident of Boonesboro Trail Senior Living Center in Winchester, Shirley enjoyed her involvement with other residents and participating in the activities at the center.Survivors include her children: Cheryl Farthing Rowe, Robert Keith Farthing (Lisa Ragan) and Kevin Farthing (Barbara Roberts); one sister: Brenda Parke Reams;…

Robert Wayne Marshall, 49, of Richmond, passed away on July 1, 2026.Robert was born in Richmond, Kentucky, on May 27, 1977, the son of Donald Wayne Marshall and Teresa Darlene Rollins Hoover. He loved the outdoors, especially time spent fishing at the Creek, hunting and a good ice-cold beer. Shirley Ann Reed, 46, of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2026, at St. Joseph Hospital -Lexington.She was born in Madison County on March 30, 1980. She graduated from Madison Central High School in 2001. She loved the Three Stooges, her dogs Mildred and Mable and her special friends Puddles and Sassy, who have already crossed over the rainbow bridge. She loved to travel, participate in Special Olympics where she won numerous medals and spend time with her mom and best friend Jessica “Jessie” as she called her.
