He was born on June 01 1937 in Lebanon Kentucky to the late George William and Mary Goatley Campbell. He was preceded in death by his two sons Mike Campbell and Damon Alford daughter Lisa Sallee 1st wife Peggy Brown Campbell parents. Survivors include his wife Gracie Mattingly Campbell of Lebanon two sons George Newton Campbell of Lebanon John Wesley Campbell Sonya Curry of Campbellsville three daughters Debbie Logsdon of Lebanon Faye Lucus of Bardstown Patty Weathington Brent of Liberty best friend Johnny Tungate of Ohio. Funeral Services will be held at 1100 A.M. Thursday April 02 2026 at Bosley Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Clellan Hays. Cremation to follow after services.

Stella Jean Cook age 86 of Louisville formerly of Lebanon passed away peacefully on Friday March 27 2026 at Norton Audubon Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 14 1939 in Lebanon Kentucky to the late John Chanslor and Elizabeth Pearl Daily. Mrs. Cook loved her family deeply and cherished every moment spent with them. Whether it was gathering at cookouts playing bingo or going on adventures with her grandchildren those times brought her the greatest joy. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Hubert Leon Cook daughter Norma Harrod parents grandsons Dennis Leon and Jesse Andrew. She was born August 19 1947 in Springfield KY to the late Russell and Juanita Sagracy Hardin. Veronica was a homemaker worked at Angell Manufacturing Co. and then retired as a corrections officer from the Marion Adjustment Center CCA.
