George Edward Nutter, Sr., 67, of Maysville, formerly of Mt. Sterling, passed away Sunday, October 11, 2026.George was born October 26, 1958, in Mt. Sterling to the late Katherine Kelley and the late Pete Henderson. Following high school, he served his country honorably for 30 years, first as a US Marine for and then in the US Army. George was employed as a heavy equipment operator for Carmeuse Lime. He was an avid UK Wildcat fan, but he enjoyed watching all sports.Survivors include his wife, Kandi Gilkison Nutter; his children Zachary (Makayla) Nutter and their children, Maci, Zakariah and Rosalie, George (Indea) Nutter, Jr. and their children, Pierce, Ellie and Kinsleigh; Kiera Nutter and her children, Kashton and Karston; stepchildren, Troy Gibbs, Jr. and his children, Tristen Cole, Trayce, and Gia and Karissa Pritchett and daughter Ziggy; his sister, Charlotte Henderson; brothers, Michael Nutter, Glenn Henderson and Larry Henderson; uncles…

Rebecca Ann "Becky" Caproni, 62, passed away Saturday, October 10, 2026, surrounded by her loving family, at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Edwood.Becky was born in Maysville, February 15, 1964, to Joy Swearingen Caproni of Latonia, Kentucky and the late Laurence Caproni. She was employed as a Patient Account Representative for UC Hospital, Cincinnati.Survivors include her daughter, Amber Caproni; her mother, Joy Caproni; her fiancé, Tim Barry; her grandchildren, Elijah Patterson, Ariana Patterson, India Tye, and Olivia Tye; great-granddaughter, Giana Spencer; sisters, Leslie Caproni, Debbie (Mike) Poe; brother, Ben Caproni; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and extended family members.Becky loved the Lord and was always happy to help others. She enjoyed Bible studies and assisted with many faith community projects. Becky enjoyed playing Word Feud, bingo and karaoke. He had a talent for drawing and liked to cook and listen to music. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.Survivors include his fiancé, Wendy Grennell; daughter, Jordin Cash; brothers, Mike (Carey) Cash, David Cash, Tony Cash; sisters Terry (Jeff) Myer and Julie Jones.In addition to his parents, Shawn was preceded in death by his brother Danny Cash; and his aunt, Bonnie Harris.No services are being planned at this time.
