Charlotte Mae Hart age 89 Harrodsburg widow of Merle J. Hart Sr. passed away on Wednesday April 1 2026 at Baptist Health Lexington. Born March 7 1937 in Harrodsburg she was the daughter of the late Cornell and Lillie B. McRay. Charlotte was a school bus driver for over 33 years for the Mercer County Schools she also enjoyed spending time with her family and loved cooking. Survivors include one daughter Teresa Coleman and one son Merle J. Lisa Hart Jr. both of Harrodsburg five grandchildren Kristie Michael Lynch of Danville M.J. Tara Hart of Lawrenceburg Amy Eric Richards of Conroe TX Rachel Coleman of Harrodsburg and Branden Tess Hart of Lexington. Charlotte was preceded in death by a son Danny J. Hart a son in law David Coleman two brothers C.H. "Buddy" McRay and Thomas McRay four sisters Pansy Houston Shirley Bailey Barbara Lake and Kathleen Patterson. Private graveside…
