Sterling to the late Hobart and Nanalie Chenault Tipton. Besides his parents Willie was preceded in death by 2 brothers Robert Tipton and Charles Tipton 2 sisters Margaret Tipton and Mary Katherine Jones niece Loretta Kelly. A Graveside service will be held at 1200 p.m. Friday May 15th at Olive Hill Cemetery Mt. Sterling KY. Officiated by Jerry Jones. Charles Jones

Mr. Charles E. Jones passed from this life to his new home on May 14 2026 at the age of 81. Born on February 28 1945 in Sharpsburg KY to Roberta Jones. He was married to Betty B. Jones of Danville KY for fiftynine years and was the father of three children Taunya Jones Ursula Jackson Walter and Natasha Oden. He was a graduate of DuBois High School class of 1964 a graduate of West Kentucky Vocational Technical College in 1966 and received an Honorable Discharge from the US Army in 1968. Following his discharge from the Army he graduated from Lexington Community College with a degree in Business Administration. Mr. Jones retired after 32 years of employment with the Gateway Area Development District as the Assistant Executive Director. He accepted Jesus Christ and was baptized in 1954 by the late Rev. E. J.
