Tom Jones, age 73, of Hazard, KY, passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, KY. Tom was a member of 11th Hour Worship Center. He was a retired machine operator for the railroad. Tom really enjoyed squirrel hunting, fishing and camping.Tom was born on March 24, 1953, in Perry County, KY, to the late Lonnie Jones and the late Ethel Combs Jones. Carolyn Jean Hurley, age 68, of Chavies, KY, passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at Baptist Health Hospital in Lexington, KY. Carolyn alongside her husband, Frank, own and operate Hurley Electric. She was a member of Chavies First Church of God. Carolyn enjoyed listening to music and cooking meals for her family. She was a devoted Christian whose faith was a huge part of her life. She cherished every moment she got to spend with her family, especially her grandchildren. Her love for her grandchildren was unconditional.She was the daughter of the late Robin Stamper and the late Vicie Neace Stamper.
