Karen Compton Branham, age 83 of Winchester, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at her home.She was a retired social worker for the Department of Health and Family services, a former teacher and attended the Church of Christ.Karen was born at Harold, Kentucky on August 31, 1942, the daughter of the late William Okey Compton and Margaret Gearheart Compton.Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Vicki Lynn Blackburn, a brother, Jack Compton and a sister, Nadine VanBever.She is survived by her husband, Doyle Edward Branham, two sons, William Edward Branham (Tommi) of Ashcamp, Kentucky, Andy Wayne Branham of Winchester, Kentucky and three daughters, Bridgette Renee’ Adkins (Tom) of Pikeville, Kentucky, Brandi Michele Skinner (Danny) of Winchester, Kentucky and Angela Young (Will) of Versailles, Kentucky.She is also survived by ten grandchildren, Leslie Adkins, Jill Young (Trey), Payton Skinner, Parker Skinner, Cameron Young, Jake Branham, Kaitlyn…
