Peggy Ann Allen 61 LaGrange died Wednesday February 11 2026 at Baptist Health Louisville. A native of Shelbyville she was the daughter of the late James Allen and Anna Pearl Beach Allen. She had been a patient caregiver at The Oaks in LaGrange for many years. In her leisure time she was an avid U. of L. fan and enjoyed both Louisville and Kentucky basketball. Her hobbies included playing bingo and working on puzzles. In addition to her parents four siblings Jerry Mae Allen Alice Harris Janet Allen and Lee Thomas preceded her in death. Survivors include her sister Joyce Hobbs two brothers James Shorty Allen and Tony Ice Allen all of Shelbyville and a host of cousins nieces nephews other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday February 17 2026. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. Rev. Norris Beckley Sr.…
