Dan Ausbrooks born July 18 1951 passed away on February 12 2026 leaving behind a family who loved him deeply and will miss him forever. Funeral services will be held Monday February 16 2026 at 12pm at Crafton Funeral Home with burial to follow in Sulphur Spring Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted at graveside by the Simpson County Honor Guard. Visitation will begin at 10am Monday at the funeral home. Dan proudly served three years in the United States Army serving 2 years with foreign sea service and later retired but his greatest roles in life were being a devoted husband father grandfather and brother. Above all else Dan loved his wife Jennifer. She was the love of his life his best friend and his heart. Even after her passing he carried her with him every day never stopping loving or honoring her.
