Ronald "Ronnie" Fister

Ronald Ronnie Thomas Fister 84 passed away peacefully on Monday February 2 2026. Ron was born on May 18 1941 to Oscar and Nellie Fister. He graduated from Simpsonville High School in 1959 and proudly served his country for nine years in the United States Army. While stationed in Germany Ron met and fell in love with Edith Kirchschlager. The two were married in January 1965 and built a life centered on family dedication and hard work. They began their life together in Lawton Oklahoma before moving to Cincinnati Ohio where Ron worked as a truck driver. The family later settled in Shelbyville Kentucky where he owned and operated a small engine repair shop before eventually returning to the trucking industry. Ron was a devoted fan of the UK Wildcats Cincinnati Bengals and Cincinnati Reds and he especially enjoyed attending games with his family. He found joy in gardening woodworking…
