Mark Bradley Sheffer, 70 years old, passed away peacefully at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, KY on May 16, 2026. Mark is survived by his sister Debbie (Terry) Brown, and brothers Eddie (Gail) Sheffer, Gary (Becky) Sheffer, Randy (Andee) Sheffer, and Michael (Nikki) Sheffer as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Mark was preceded in death by his parents Larry and Janice Sheffer, brother Jeff Sheffer and a nephew Bryce Sheffer.Mark was a 1974 graduate of Union County High School. After high school, Mark continued working for with his dad and brothers for Sheffer & Sons Construction until his late 20’s when he was broadsided with the devastating effects of schizophrenia. With the tsunami of changes this brought about in Mark’s mental functioning came devastating consequences.
