Russell Scott Perkins, age 57, of Bowling Green, KY, passed away Sunday, October 11, 2026, at his residence.Scott Perkins was born on March 23rd, 1969, in Bowling Green KY to the late Rusty Perkins and to Cherry Perkins, whom survives. He is also preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ret. Maj. Eldon and Mary Sue Perkins and maternal grandparents, Jack and Pauline Beckner.Scott graduated from Bowling Green High School in 1987. During the same time period, he worked at Ken Wallace Ford. His working career continued through Holley, Stripes, and More, Scotty's, Tint Unlimited, and Quick Fuel Technology. But his true passion was sparked through his work at Dale Meers Racing Engines, carburetors.While he had always grown up around the drag strip, working with his dad on cars and carburetors, the idea of owning his own business became a reality. Adam Mitchell Niva, 61 of Bowling Green Kentucky, entered into rest surrounded by his loving family at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. He was born, September 10, 1965 in Lexington, Kentucky to George D. Niva and Sally S. Niva. He was a graduate of Bowling Green High School and attended the University of Kentucky.Adam was not married and had no children. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Russel and Ellen Niva, Maternal grandparents, Lew and June Gessler, mother, Sally S. Niva, and stepmother Gretchen B. Niva. Adam is survived by his father, George D. Niva, his sister Kim N. Johnson (Glenn), his brother Todd R. Niva (Felicia), his niece Amber R. Ison (Scott), great niece Lynlee Ison, and great nephew Owen Ison.Adam’s last gesture of kindness was to volunteer as an organ donor. The family has chosen cremation with the service provided by J.C.
