Michael Anthony Ferreira, born in Taunton, Massachusetts on October 20, 1952, and a resident of New Orleans, Louisiana, passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2026 due to a lengthy illness at the age of 73. He was the son of the late Antone Ferreira and Hilda Ramos FerreiraMichael is survived by his daughters, Nicole Ryan of Harrisburg, North Carolina and Ashlee Ferreira of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina; and granddaughter Ava McCone of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.Michael was a 1970 graduate of Coyle High School and attended Roger Williams College, completing his Bachelor's Degree in 1974. He loved to fish, quahog clam, and enjoyed being out on the water. He loved the great food and culture of New Orleans. Michael will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
