It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Nolan Wayne Bailey Sr. who passed away on Friday March 27 2026 in Rowlett Texas. He was intelligent and deeply perceptive a man who loved to laugh brighten a room recount life stories and approach life with curiosity and a sense of adventure even to his last day. Nolan leaves behind a legacy of service knowledge humor resilience a deeply sensitive nature known by his closest family members and a good heart. He will be remembered for his love of family his devotion to teaching his adventurous spirit the warmth he brought to others and his love for his students vicariously living through them all. Nolan proudly served as a Captain in the United States Air Force flying the Lockheed Hercules C130D "Ski Model" on the Greenland Ice Cap and served with the 17th Troop Carrier Squadron in Elmendorf…
