Wiley Bruce Holland affectionately known as Bruce 86 passed away on October 10 2026 after a life marked by loyalty integrity humility and genuine kindness toward others. Above all Bruce was a devoted husband father and grandfather whose love for his family was at the center of his life. Bruce was born on September 9 1940 in Chestnut Louisiana and raised in Sarepta Louisiana. He graduated from Sarepta High School and went on to proudly serve his country in the United States Navy. Following his military service Bruce continued his education at Northwestern State University where he earned a B.A. degree in Business Administration. After graduating from Northwestern Bruce began what would become a 25year career with Shell Oil Company where he worked as a drilling foreman until his retirement in 1991. Julia Judy Kathryn Linscomb 77 of Vinton Louisiana went home to be with her Lord and Savior on October 9 2026 peacefully at her home holding hands with her loving husband and surrounded by her daughters. She was born April 12 1949 in Orange Texas to Luther William Hashaw and Gloria Evelyn Julia Morris Hashaw. Beautiful inside and out Judy was crowned Mardi Gras Queen at Saint Josephs Catholic School. At Vinton High School she served as Head Majorette was voted FFA Queen and was named Best Female Athlete before graduating. On September 14 1968 Judy married the love of her life Timothy Lynn Linscomb. From their first dance to their last she never passed up a chance to dance with him.
