Geraldine Delatte Blackard a resident of St. Francisville passed away peacefully on Thursday April 2 2026. She was 83 years old. Visitation will be at Second Baptist Church in Jackson on Monday April 6 2026 from 9am until service at 11am conducted by Rev. Thomas Giroir. Burial will be in Second Baptist Church Cemetery. She is survived by her son Steven Ray Blackard and wife Anna Tia Blackard. A sister Vera Charlene Delatte Purvis and husband Rodney Kevin Purvis. 2 grandchildren Miley Ann Blackard and Deryl Elizabeth Blackard James. 2 great grandchildren Steven Hayes Blackard and Harper Wiley Crum. She is preceded in death by her husband Archie Ray Blackard parents Steve and Dicie Kinchen Delatte sister Catherine Delatte Wynters and brother Ralph Delatte. Geraldine dedicated her life to her family. She shared a profound bond with her husband Archie with whom she navigated lifes journey hand in hand. Together…
