Ronald Lewis Smith age 77 formerly of St.Francisville Louisiana passed away on August 20 2026 following a lengthy illness. He was surrounded by his loving family.Ronald was born in Humphreys County Mississippi to Louis D. Smith and Ruby Nell Ables Smith. Fiftyeight years ago he married the love of his life Mardis Rushing Smith in Mississippi. The couple later moved to Baton Rouge Louisiana where they welcomed their son Ronald Gregory Smith. They eventually made their home in St.Francisville Louisiana where they built a life together filled with family hard work faith and many cherished memories. Ronald dedicated 39 years of his career to Gulf States Utilities which later became Entergy. His commitment to his community extended beyond his career as he also proudly served for many years as a volunteer firefighter in St.Francisville. Eugene Nain Marionneaux loving father and grandfather transitioned to his eternal home peacefully on Wednesday July 22 2026 at the age of 86. Eugene was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years Carmen. Eugene is survived by his son Steven Christoper Lanni Marionneaux of Asbury Park NJ daughters Susan Keith Phillips of St. Francisville and Toni Jack Leiva of Zachary and grandsons Tyler Zachary Smith Leiva of Oklahoma City and Trey Anna Leiva and their daughter Carmen Rae of Baton Rouge. Eugene lived an incredible life whether he was spending time with his family woodworking in his garage or out on a golf course with friends. Visitation will be at Charlet Funeral Home 4230 High Street Zachary on Saturday August 15 2026 from 100 pm until 300 pm service. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Mt.
