NEW IBERIA Funeral services will be held for Karyn Darby Curro 65 on Friday October 16 2026 at 100 p.m. at Evangeline Funeral Home in New Iberia. Father Keith Landry will officiate the service. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home beginning at 1000 a.m. A Rosary will be prayed by the Mens Rosary Group at 1100 a.m. Interment will be held privately at a later date. Karyn was born on June 5 1961 to Terrell Darby and Dossie Desormeaux Darby. She passed away peacefully at her residence in New Iberia on Saturday October 10 2026. Karyn devoted 17 years of her life to Drug Emporium where she worked as a manager. More than anything however Karyn lived for her family. Her children and grandchildren meant the world to her and there was nothing she loved more than spending time with the people she held closest to her…
