Roy I. "Buddy" Richards departed this earthly life on Friday June 19 2026. He was born on January 4 1948 to the late Roy and Agnes Jones Richards. Husband of Mable W. Richards. Father of Leslie Roylynn Meshone Bryan Lionell and Ivan. Stepfather of Rasheeda and Shelita. Brother of Janice R. Anderson the late JoAnn R. Jackson and Reynold L. Richards. Also survived by sixteen grandchildren seven greatgrandchildren a host of nieces nephews other relatives and friends. Mr. Richards a Vietnam Veteran served his country as a member of the United States Army as well as the Army Reserve. He was a member of A Closer Walk Meeting the Need Ministry where Elder Buridell Johnson serves as Pastor. Roy was a graduate of Violet Consolidated High School Class of 65 A former employee of Murphy Oil Refinery and the Veterans Administration Medical Center. "Buddy" was a charmer and a friend…
