Claude Nixon Jr. 96 of Fort Worth Texas passed away on October 7 2026. Claude was born to Claude and Helen Nixon on March 24 1930 in Greenwood Mississippi. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Vanderbilt University where he was a member of Phi Kappa Sigma fraternity. After being honorably discharged from the United States Army Claude obtained his Masters in Business Administration from the University of Mississippi where he was a member of Beta Alpha Psi accounting fraternity. After several accounting jobs across the country Claude relocated to New Orleans Louisiana obtained his Certified Public Accountancy license and joined and became a partner in Bourgeois Bennett Thokey Hickey accounting firm. While working Claude was a member of many clubs including the AICPA Kiwanis and Endymion. Rita was born in Fordoche Louisiana to Josephine Donachricha and Vincent Giordano on April 14 1934. She met and fell in love with George T. Kingsley and they wed in 1952. She retired from a nearly 30 year career at Sears working in various departments. After retirement Rita enjoyed gardening in her yard and growing hydrangeas. She stayed true to her Italian roots and loved to cook. Everyone would fight over her shrimp mirliton casserole and stuffed artichokes. She also enjoyed traveling all over and spending time with her family. Out of everything Rita was most proud of her family and being the family matriarch. She was a beloved wife mother grandmother and greatgrandmother.
