Eva Jeanell Bordelon McDowell was born to the union of Richard Garret Bordelon and EvaAgnes Wallace Bordelon on March 22, 1940 in Cottonport, LA. She went to her heavenly homeon July 1st, 2026.Eva Jeanell was a beloved teacher in the LaSalle Parish school system for 33 years. She ismost remembered by her students for her dedication to ensuring that they learned theirmultiplication facts backwards and forwards.She met the love of her life, Lee Alonzo McDowell, while in college, whom she married shortlythereafter in 1962. She was a loving and devoted spouse, supporting her husband’s passion foreducation with an equal dedication of her own. Their union was blessed with three children and44 years of love and happiness.
