Emily Waguespack Gann, passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at the age of 98. She is survived by her children, Michael A. Gann of Grand Prairie, TX, Patrick C. (Jamie) Gann of Gulfport, MS, Terry C. (Jollene) Gann of Lexington, KY, and Darcy G. (Chris) Bush of Maurepas, LA; daughter-in-law, Elsie D. Gann; grandchildren, Lisa Thompson, Joshua Gann, Lauri Arnold, Brad Gann, Douglas Gann, Mandy Gann, and Jamie Miller; great-grandchildren; and many extended family members.She was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Oscar "Al" Gann; children, Thomas L. Gann, Timothy F. Gann, Jory R. Gann, and Mary Kay Gann; parents, Clement and Anisia Hebert Waguespack; and her siblings.Born in Thibodaux, Louisiana on November 5, 1927 to her parents, Clement and Anisia Waguespack, Emily pursued a degree in education, where she taught in both the public and Catholic school systems until her retirement. Rita Christina Borne, 51, a native of Choctaw and a resident of Kraemer, was called to her Heavenly Home on Thursday, May 14, 2026, and is now with her Lord and Savior. She is survived by her devoted companion of 16 years, Lester J. Cortez, Jr.; the proud loving mother of Tiffani Borne, Alasia and Hannah Cortez; sister-in-law, Mandy Mahler (Wyatt); and father-in-law, Lester J. Cortez, Sr.She is now reunited in Heaven with her parents, Reynis and Gwendellia Hebert.Rita will forever be remembered for her love of life, kind-heartedness, and her bravery, especially during her three year courageous battle with cancer. Thibodaux, 75, a native and resident of Thibodaux, Louisiana passed away on May 15, 2026.As per his wishes, no services will be held.He is survived by his daughter, Sarah (Aaron) Tastet; and brother, Dave Paul Thibodaux.He was preceded in death by his parents, Sterling and Winnie Thibodaux; brother, Douglas Thibodaux; and grandmother, Rose Bourg Thibodaux.Michael served his community as a police officer and sheriff's deputy for over 28 years. After retiring, he enjoyed his mornings at Sparh's visiting and chatting with friends.
