John Edward Brewer Sr. lovingly known as Pops passed away on July 2 2026 at the age of 64. Born on December 10 1961 John lived a life marked by strength loyalty and dedication to the people he loved. John proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps a role that shaped much of the man he became steady dependable and strongwilled. He may have been a hard man to love at times but for those who truly knew him he was always there when it mattered most. John was preceded in death by his parents Pete and Mary Fortenberry Brewer his brother Billy Joe Brewer his nephew Nicholas Pete Brewer and his greatgranddaughter Nalani Rose Slater. He is survived by his partner Betty Jo Young his daughter Jessica Moore Shane his son John Brewer Jr. Monica his bonus daughter Nettie Louise and his bonus son Justin Young…
